Anushka is an actress and producer in Bollywood. She is amongst the highest-paid actress and has received many accolades for her acting. Nush is also an ambassador for various firms and also has her own women's clothing line. Forbes Magazine also featured her. Anushka Sharma was born on 1 May 1988 in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh was the son of Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Anushka's father is a Colonel (retd.) Her mother is a homemaker. Karnesh, Anushka Sharma's older brother who was a member of the Merchant Navy is now a filmmaker. Anushka Sharma graduated from Army School Bangalore. Mount Carmel College Bangalore is the place where she graduated with her Bachelor of Arts. Anushka holds a Master of Arts qualification in economics. Anushka Sharma wanted to be journalist or model, but was not a performer. Anushka Sharma left for Mumbai for the purpose of registering at Elite Model Management and be groomed under the guidance by style advisor Prasad Bidapa. Anushka began modelling in 2017 at Wendell Rodricks Les Vamps Show. Also, she was selected for the spring collection Summer 2007, by Rodricks. Her modeling career started at Lakme Fashion Week in 2017. The model has since been featured in several campaigns, including campaigns for Fiat Palio & Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka joined an acting class and began auditioning for movies along with her modeling career. In 2008 Anushka Sharma made her acting debut with the movie Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi alongside Shah Rukh Khan. In order to get ready for her screen test, she spent the whole day. She was later contracted to do three movies under the Yash Raj Films label. In the movie, she performed the role of a young girl who married a middle aged man (the part Shah Rukh Khan is playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka Sharma starred in the film 'Badmash Company,' which came out in the year 2010. It included Shahid Kapoor as well as Vir Das. The film received mixed reviews. That same year Anushka Sharma was seen in the film 'Band Baaja Baaraat' alongside Ranveer Singh in the role of a middle-class Punjabi girl who launches her own business of wedding planning. The film received a positive review and turned out to be a surprise hit. Anushka had signed the three film contract with Yash Raj Films.
